Living in Douglas
Douglas is a typical small city. It's peaceful, with a good variety of recreation to keep its residents busy. For history buffs, you get the Douglas Railroad Interpretive Center where railroad vehicles, steam locomotives and old cars are exhibited. Douglas' early start as a railway station of the Wyoming Central Railway is also detailed in the depot.
Rodeos and horse racing are an indelible part of Douglas culture. Horse action is in full gear during the Wyoming State Fair, which is held every August in Douglas.
